Professor of telecommunications in engineering schools, I am an expert in information and communication technologies. I have written two theses, ten books and hundreds of articles in scientific journals. Using artificial intelligence tools, I conduct theoretical and practical research on mobile radios, the Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G.
Your latest book is about smart antennas. What is the message you want to convey to the readers?
Smart antennas are essential for the implementation of 5G and the Internet of Things to ensure the quality of service. Engineers and researchers must have a perfect knowledge of the algorithms for detecting arrival directions and/or beam formation in the desired directions. They must systematically evaluate them, improve their performance and incorporate the most efficient ones into radio transmission devices.
