The idea of writing a book on analytical philosophy arose from my experience as a young professor of Analytical Philosophy at Loyola University of Congo in the Democratic Republic of Congo(2020), an institution run by the Jesuits. In my discussions with my third year undergraduate students, I felt the need to formalize my course notes, and make it a simple and comprehensive book which could serve as an introduction to Analytical Philosophy for beginners in philosophy with only elementary notions of logic and argumentation. This is how this book appeared at the very beginning as a simple, historical approach to Analytical Philosophy, highlighting the major stages of its development.
