A descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study, with both prospective and retrospective data collection over a period of 8 years on 647 patients, enabled us to obtain a profile of ankylosing spondylitis in Senegal, from the epidemiological, diagnostic, therapeutic and evolutionary points of view at the Aristide LeDantec University Hospital in Dakar.
