Today’s Tomorrow

Prof’s Today’s Tomorrow is a poetic manifesto that explores the challenges and hopes of contemporary Africa through the lens of personal responsibility, servant leadership, and the quest for justice. It weaves together themes of decolonization, identity, and transformation, calling young leaders to rise courageously for a better world. The collection is both a cry of indignation against global injustices and a passionate vision of renewal, rooted in African pride. Conceived as slam pieces by the Mississippi River in Minnesota in late May 2017, the texts eventually formed this collection to be a reflection on the necessity of learning from the past and uniting in responsibility to overcome chaos and challenges. It calls on bold, visionary individuals to embrace truth to create a hopeful society for all, and expresses a vision of Africa’s potential for greatness hindered by political deception and affirms the supremacy of a divine Creator above human inventions and disbeliefs.
