THEOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR CHILD PROTECTION: AN INTEGRATED ECCLESIAL APPROACH

Child abuse is a global public health concern and all stakeholders, including the church have civil responsibility to initiate safeguarding measures. Where child abuse exists, an appropriate response is child protection. Child protection is not merely a legal or civil responsibility—it is a theological imperative. This book explores the deep connections between the Christian faith and safeguarding practices within ecclesial contexts. Drawing on Scripture, tradition, and contemporary theological discourse, it offers a comprehensive framework for understanding and implementing child protection as a core aspect of the Church’s mission.
