Tell us more about yourself, who is Donald T. DeMarco?

My wife, Mary, and I are American citizens living in Canada. We have 5 children and 12 grandchildren. I have a great love for writing, although my greater passion is for music. I am very much concerned about the current state of affairs in which the world finds itself.

Your latest book "Moral Compass" is intended for those who are lost in life, what is the message you want to convey to the readers?

Do not fail to appreciate the value of moral virtues. They can be personally invigorating as well a mentally illuminating. Also, do not fail to appreciate the importance of religion and the existence of a benevolent God who superintends this earthly abode.

What is the best piece of advice for people nowadays?

Do not give up hope. Intelligence can be of great practical help. Philosophy can be an important ally in our troubled times.

What would be your word of encouragement for a new author?

Don’t try to impress anyone. Focus intently on your subject and try to make it as clear as possible. Keep in mind that you are writing for others and develop a certain sympathy for them. Good writing is a gift for others.
