Regarding the wide range of applications of MOFs, and in the context of the bilateral project between CNR Italy (Bari) and CNRST Morocco (Oujda) 2020/2022, we write this book intitled [Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) based on pyrazolic ligands: Synthesis, Characterization and Applications] focusing on one heterocyclic organic moiety which is pyrazole. The book is presented in five-chapters. The first chapter reports a brief review about MOFs based on pyrazolic ligands, electron rich ligands able to form metal complexes, ranging from polynuclear clusters to metallocycles or MOFs. The second chapter highlights the important characteristics of MOFs. The third chapter reports, new ideas and strategies to design and synthesize functional materials MOFs. The fourth chapter cites different characterization methods such as SCXD, EDS and ICP-OES. The last chapter presents some applications of MOFs on gas storage, separation, catalysis, sensors and biomedicine.
