Methods and Trends in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics and AI Applications

This book presents the papers included in the proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and AI Applications (ICCSDFAI-2025) that was held in Astana IT University, Astana, Kazakhstan on 29-30, April 2025. ICCSDFAI-2025 is organized by the Research and Innovation Center “CyberTech” and Department of Intelligent Systems and Cybersecurity of Astana IT University (Kazakhstan) in collaboration with Birmingham City University (UK), Istanbul Technical University (Turkey) and JSC "STATE TECHNICAL SERVICE" (Kazakhstan). The main idea of the conference is uniting the cybersecurity, digital forensics, and AI community to turn cutting-edge research into practical defenses—through knowledge exchange, hands-on training (workshops, CTF, hackathon), and institutional partnerships—to strengthen national and regional cyber resilience. The book discusses research topics such as AI-driven threat detection, phishing and malware analysis, intrusion-evasion techniques, digital evidence acquisition and optimization, privacy-preserving large language models, secure IoT and blockchain-based authentication.
