Environmental pollution and climate change have become one of the biggest concerns worldwide. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change warned that by 2050, the Earth's temperature could rise by more than 1.5 degrees Celsius and we could see a major climate crisis within the next 20 years. This phenomenon is caused by natural and man-made factors. Enterprises, the key driver for national economic development, are identified as the factors that consume the largest amout of water, energy, raw materials but have bad effects on the ecology. The global context as well as stakeholder pressures forces firms to apply green strategies into their operations process. Enterprises of all sectors must innovate toward sustainable development when the limited natural resources are depleting gradually day by day.
