Taking Care of Humanism in Education: From Critique to Affirmation

This book consists of two parts in which I have proposed the considerations about taking care of humanism in education in the first part and in the second part the cultural regression in the liquid culture. In the first part of this book my research is dedicated to the problem of humanism in education and is composed of presentation of two conception of humanistic education. These conceptions consists of Gert Biesta’s existential education and the institution of ,,weak pedagogy’’ and Ken Wilber’s integral life practice. In the first part of my book the considerations have touched the problem of educational dispute upon the humanistic education , which is composed as cognitive trajectory: from critique to affirmation. In the second part of book I have conducted the analysis of the regression of culture in liguid culture and I have explored the Zygmunt Bauman’s category of retrotopia and Ken Wilber’s considerations upon the regression of evolutionary trajectory within his integral theory. This book is composed of two parts in which gathered essays organizing narration in these cultural fields.
