Articulating the Shan migrant community in Thai society through community radio

Making sense of the practices and experiences of the Shan migrant community in the city of Chiang Mai in Thailand, the text articulates the process of making meaning about the contexts in which this community exists through their community media in an often unfriendly setting, and then tries to understand how this media sphere is making the community strong and more resilient in rapidlychanging environments.
