Food security is closely linked to the future of mankind. At present, the phenomenon of non-grain production of cultivated land has attracted great attention from governments at all levels of the world. However, systematic and comprehensive scientific research on the non-grain production of cultivated land and scientific suggestions are still scarce. By using remote sensing data and GIS methods, we studied the spatial-temporal evolution pattern, driving mechanism and control strategy of non-grain production of cultivated land in China.
