Rural small-scale farmers in South Africa's Eastern Cape face unpredictable times characterised by climate change and fluctuation, which exacerbate social, political, and financial inequities. As a result, there is a need to improve knowledge and interpretation of climate information. Increasing rural small-scale farmers' resilience necessitates suitable and realistic practical techniques. This project disseminates the complex nature of present climate information frameworks by utilising a system thinking methodology (using the Raymond Mhlaba Municipality in the Eastern Cape as a study area). This study disseminates the complexities of today's climate information frameworks. This book established a novel framework for disseminating climate information to rural small-scale farmers (herein referred to as the climate information communication systems framework) using input from farmers (using a Farmers Research Group approach) and climate data. The suggested framework for climate information and communication systems successfully incorporates scientific and traditional knowledge.
